The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) officially released the SSC JE Notification 2025 earlier this year, announcing a total of 1,731 Vacancies (Increased from 1340) for Junior Engineer posts in Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines. The Paper 1 (CBE) examination is scheduled to be held from December 3rd to 6th, 2025.
SSC JE 2025 Latest Update (తెలుగులో): డిప్లొమా మరియు B.Tech అర్హతతో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఇంజనీరింగ్ ఉద్యోగాల కోసం SSC JE 2025 నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదలైంది. పేపర్-1 పరీక్షలు డిసెంబర్ 3 నుండి 6 వరకు జరగనున్నాయి. హాల్ టికెట్లు నవంబర్ చివరి వారంలో విడుదలయ్యే అవకాశం ఉంది.
Current Status: Applications Closed. Exam in Dec 2025.
My Advice (నా సలహా): ఇంజనీరింగ్ డిప్లొమా లేదా B.Tech చేసిన వారికి ఇది అద్భుతమైన అవకాశం. గేట్ (GATE) లేకుండా సెంట్రల్ గవర్నమెంట్ లో JE గా చేరడానికి ఇదే బెస్ట్ రూట్. CPWD డిపార్ట్మెంట్ లో పోస్టింగ్ వస్తే ప్రమోషన్లు మరియు జీతం చాలా బాగుంటాయి.

Vacancy Details (ఉద్యోగాల వివరాలు)
మొత్తం 1,731 ఖాళీలను వివిధ విభాగాల్లో భర్తీ చేస్తున్నారు. డిపార్ట్మెంట్ వారీగా వివరాలు:
- BRO (Border Roads Organization): Only for Male Candidates. (Civil & Electrical/Mech)
- CPWD (Central Public Works Department): Most preferred department.
- CWC (Central Water Commission): Civil & Mechanical posts.
- MES (Military Engineer Services): Army associated works.
- Farakka Barrage Project: Civil, Electrical, Mechanical posts.
Eligibility Criteria (అర్హతలు)
Candidates must meet the following criteria as per the SSC JE Notification 2025.
1. Education Qualification (విద్యా అర్హత):
- CPWD: Diploma in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mech). B.Tech candidates are also eligible.
- BRO/MES: Degree in Engineering OR Diploma + 2 Years Experience.
- (ముఖ్య గమనిక: కొన్ని పోస్టులకు డిప్లొమా ఉంటే 2 ఏళ్ల అనుభవం అడుగుతారు, కానీ B.Tech వారికి అనుభవం అవసరం లేదు).
2. Age Limit (వయో పరిమితి) – As on Aug 1, 2025:
- Up to 32 Years: CPWD & CWC.
- Up to 30 Years: BRO, MES, Farakka Barrage, etc.
- Age Relaxation: OBC (3 Yrs), SC/ST (5 Yrs), PwD (10 Yrs).
Exam Centers in Telugu States
తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల అభ్యర్థులు లోకల్ గా ఎగ్జామ్ రాసుకోవచ్చు. అందుబాటులో ఉన్న సెంటర్స్:
- Andhra Pradesh: Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Kurnool, Guntur, Rajahmundry, Kakinada, Nellore, Chirala.
- Telangana: Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar.
Selection Process (ఎంపిక విధానం)
The selection process consists of two papers (Both are Computer Based Exams):
Paper-1 (CBE):
- General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 Marks).
- General Awareness (50 Marks).
- General Engineering (Civil/Mech/Electrical) (100 Marks).
- Total: 200 Marks (2 Hours). Negative Marking: 0.25.
Paper-2 (CBE):
- Specific Engineering Subject (Civil/Mech/Electrical).
- 100 Questions, 300 Marks (Each question 3 marks).
- Negative Marking: 1 Mark.
Junior Engineer is a Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted post.
- Pay Level: Level-6 (7th CPC).
- Basic Pay: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400.
- In-Hand Salary: సుమారుగా ₹55,000 – ₹60,000 (Includes DA, HRA, TA).
